Iran Renewable Energy Association (IrREA), as the organizer of Iran REC, is facilitating VISA affairs for its international delegates. By using this service you won’t be delayed for your trip to Iran. Although the citizens from some of countries are able to get their VISA in Iran International Airports, it may take a little long time to be issued.

To begin, you need to fill in the form below and submit your request; IrREA’s international affairs team will contact you as soon as possible. There are some important tips that you should know before applying.

 

 

Passport Expiration

To apply for all types of electronic visas, your passport should have at least six months of validity, beyond your actual travel date. Obviously, you are not able to submit your application, if your passport is expiring in less than 6 months.

 

 

 

Visa on Arrival

Iran visa on arrival “Visa Upon Arrival” is available at selected Iranian Airports: Tehran, Isfahan, Shiraz, Mashhad, Tabriz, Urmia, Bandar Abbas, Bushehr, Qeshm, Kerman and Kish for about 70 nationalities. This method is quite convenient. Nationals of these countries holding ordinary passports and wishing to visit Iran mainland, can obtain a 15-30 day Tourist Visa Upon Arrival at the airports. Many people prefer to pick up their visa in Iran airports because of the inconvenience of going to embassy or consulates. But for getting Iran visa upon arrival it’s always better to have the authorization number before. You can ask Iran REC team in Iran to get the authorization number for you and once you get the authorization code the process will be easier and faster.

Excluded Citizenship

Based on mutual agreement within the framework of international rules and regulations, citizens of some countries are exempt from applying for a visa to enter Iran. They include the citizens of the Republic of Azerbaijan, Bolivia, Turkey, Syria, Lebanon, Georgia, Armenia, Venezuela, Egypt and Malaysia.

*Other countries’ citizens need to apply for visa thorough Iran embassy in their hometown. The best solution for all citizens from all over the world is to apply via Iran REC secretariat to be issued as easy as it is possible.

 

Travel to Iran without a passport stamp

 

According to the facilities which Ministry of Foreign Affairs  have considered for visitors and tourists in Iran; all of tourists and visitors’ passports won’t be stamped in their arrival to Iran international airports. Thus there is no worry about your travels to other countries that embargo Iran.
